  2. 2. Roughly chop 150 grams of chocolate.
  3. 3. Melt the chocolate together with butter in a small saucepan, stirring constantly.
  4. 4. Mix powdered sugar, flour, cocoa, walnuts, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  5. 5. Add eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture.
  6. 6. Stir in the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
  7. 7. Finely chop the remaining chocolate.
  8. 8. Fold the finely chopped chocolate into the batter.
  9. 9. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper (approx. 25x30 cm).
  10. 10. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
  11. 11. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool for a short while.
  12. 12. Take the brownies out of the pan and let them cool completely.
  13. 13. Cut the cooled brownies into squares as desired.
