🍽️ Creamy Waldorf Salad with Nuts

Ingredients
- 250 g celery stalks
- 250 g celeriac
- 3 small, red apples
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 3 tbsp crème fraîche
- 5 tbsp milk
- 200 g pineapple (from the can)
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the celery stalks.
- 2. Remove the leafy tops from the celery.
- 3. Finely chop the celery stalks.
- 4. Cut the celery stalks into small cubes.
- 5. Peel the celeriac root.
- 6. Grate the peeled celeriac finely.
- 7. Mix the grated celery pieces with lemon juice.
- 8. Wash the apples.
- 9. Dry the apples with a cloth.
- 10. Quarter the apples.
- 11. Core the apple quarters.
- 12. Dice the apples into cubes.
- 13. Place the celery and apple cubes into a bowl.
- 14. Mix the celery and apples well together.
- 15. Whisk the crème fraîche with milk.
- 16. Continue stirring until a homogeneous mass forms.
- 17. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 18. Take half of the nuts.
- 19. Add the nuts to the dressing.
- 20. Fold the nuts well into the dressing mixture.
- 21. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- 22. Cut the pineapple into small cubes.
- 23. Gently fold the pineapple cubes into the salad.
- 24. Serve the salad in bowls.
- 25. Garnish the salad with the remaining walnuts.
