  3. 3. Finely chop the celery stalks.
  4. 4. Cut the celery stalks into small cubes.
  5. 5. Peel the celeriac root.
  6. 6. Grate the peeled celeriac finely.
  7. 7. Mix the grated celery pieces with lemon juice.
  8. 8. Wash the apples.
  9. 9. Dry the apples with a cloth.
  10. 10. Quarter the apples.
  11. 11. Core the apple quarters.
  12. 12. Dice the apples into cubes.
  13. 13. Place the celery and apple cubes into a bowl.
  14. 14. Mix the celery and apples well together.
  15. 15. Whisk the crème fraîche with milk.
  16. 16. Continue stirring until a homogeneous mass forms.
  17. 17. Season the sauce with pepper.
  18. 18. Take half of the nuts.
  19. 19. Add the nuts to the dressing.
  20. 20. Fold the nuts well into the dressing mixture.
  21. 21. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
