🍽️ Waldorf Salad

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast fillets (approx. 140 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tart apples
- 2 stalks celery
- 50 g walnut kernels
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken, pat dry with a kitchen towel, and season with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot pan with a little oil for 2-3 minutes on each side, then reduce the heat and cook for another 4-5 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- 2. Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the core, and cut into thin strips. Clean the celery thoroughly, peel, and slice thinly. Chop the walnuts finely.
- 3. Mix the mayonnaise with the sour cream, 1-2 tablespoons of water, and the lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4. Slice the chicken and arrange it in glasses together with the apples, celery, and nuts. Pour the salad dressing over and serve.
