  3. 3. Heat the remaining juice together with the fruit.
  4. 4. Stir the starch until smooth in the three tablespoons of juice.
  5. 5. Add the starch mixture to the hot fruit mass.
  6. 6. Let the mixture boil once briefly.
  7. 7. Keep the compote warm.
  8. 8. Whip the cream until stiff.
  9. 9. Stir butter, sugar, and salt until creamy.
  10. 10. Separate the eggs.
  11. 11. Add the egg yolks one by one to the butter mixture.
  12. 12. Stir until the mixture is airy and foamy.
  13. 13. Sift the flour.
  14. 14. Stir in the flour and milk alternately.
  15. 15. Whip the egg whites until stiff.
  16. 16. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.
  17. 17. Preheat the waffle iron.
  18. 18. Brush the waffle iron with oil.
