  3. 3. Dice the apple pieces into small cubes.
  4. 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan.
  5. 5. Add the apple cubes and honey to the hot butter.
  6. 6. Sauté the mixture briefly.
  7. 7. Remove the pan from the heat immediately.
  8. 8. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter for the batter.
  9. 9. Whisk the melted butter with the sugar and a pinch of salt until creamy.
  10. 10. Add the eggs one by one to the butter-sugar mixture.
  11. 11. Mix the flour with the baking powder.
  12. 12. Stir in the milk and the flour mixture alternately into the batter.
  13. 13. Preheat your double waffle iron.
  14. 14. Brush the hot waffle iron with a little butter.
  15. 15. Pour the batter into the molds of the waffle iron.
