  2. 2. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
  3. 3. Wash the iceberg lettuce and tear it into bite-sized pieces.
  4. 4. Peel the cucumber and slice it into thin rounds.
  5. 5. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove the seeds, and slice them into strips.
  6. 6. Place all prepared ingredients into a large bowl.
  7. 7. Season the salad with salt, plenty of black pepper, and 5 tablespoons of olive oil.
  8. 8. Toss everything well until the ingredients are evenly coated.
  9. 9. Add a little lemon juice to taste.
  10. 10. Sprinkle fresh parsley leaves over the salad.
  11. 11. Serve the salad as an appetizer.
  12. 12. Serve with fresh flatbread.
