🍽️ Whole Wheat Spaghetti with Arugula and Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 400 g whole wheat spaghetti
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 bunch arugula
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- sea salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a large pot and add some salt.
- 2. Add the whole wheat spaghetti to the boiling water.
- 3. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- 4. Rinse the cherry tomatoes under running water.
- 5. Cut the tomatoes in half.
- 6. Rinse the arugula under running water.
- 7. Remove any thick stems or wilted leaves from the arugula.
- 8. Set aside a few nice sprigs of arugula for garnish.
- 9. Roughly chop the remaining arugula.
- 10. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 11. Finely chop the garlic.
- 12. Heat oil in a large pan.
- 13. Add the chopped garlic and the roughly chopped arugula to the hot pan.
- 14. Sauté the vegetables briefly until fragrant.
- 15. Add the halved tomatoes to the pan.
- 16. Add the drained whole wheat spaghetti to the pan.
- 17. Toss everything well to mix the pasta with the vegetables.
- 18. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
- 19. Serve the pasta on plates.
- 20. Garnish the dishes with the reserved arugula sprigs.
