🍳 Crunchy Whole Wheat Sunflower Seed Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cube fresh yeast (42 g)
- 1 kg whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp sunflower oil
- 50 g sunflower seeds
Instructions
- 1. Add the yeast to 500 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 2. Stir the yeast in the water until it is completely dissolved.
- 3. Add the flour and salt to a large mixing bowl.
- 4. Pour the yeast-water mixture and the oil into the bowl.
- 5. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough using the dough hooks of an electric hand mixer.
- 6. If the dough is too dry, add a little more lukewarm water.
- 7. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
- 8. Cover the bowl.
- 9. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.
- 10. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface.
- 11. Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it briefly.
- 12. Work the sunflower seeds into the dough while kneading.
- 13. Shape the dough into a large, round loaf.
- 14. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 15. Place the bread loaf on the prepared baking tray.
- 16. Let the loaf rise for another 25 minutes.
- 17. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
- 18. Put the bread into the preheated oven.
- 19. Bake the bread for about 60 to 70 minutes.
- 20. Tap the bottom of the bread.
- 21. The bread is done if it sounds hollow.
