  1. 1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the lukewarm water. Stir the mixture until everything has completely dissolved.
  2. 2. Mix the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the yeast-sugar mixture.
  3. 3. Knead the dough using the dough hooks of an electric hand mixer until it is elastic. Add a little more flour or water if necessary to achieve the right consistency.
  4. 4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
  5. 5. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface. Take the dough out and knead it briefly.
  6. 6. Work the raisins and walnuts evenly into the dough.
  7. 7. Shape the dough into a round loaf. Roll it briefly in the oat flakes so that it is covered on the outside.
  8. 8. Grease a baking pan. Place the dough loaf inside.
  9. 9. Cover the pan and let the dough rise again for about 15 minutes.
  10. 10. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees. Bake the bread for 35 to 40 minutes.
  11. 11. Take the bread out of the oven. Let it cool down a bit in the pan.
  12. 12. Turn the bread out of the pan. Let it cool completely before slicing it.
