🍽️ Chive Scrambled Eggs in a Bun

Ingredients
- 4 chives
- 0.5 tomato
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk (1.5% fat)
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tsp rapeseed oil
- 1 whole grain roll
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chives thoroughly.
- 2. Shake the chives dry.
- 3. Cut the chives into small rings.
- 4. Wash half of the tomato.
- 5. Slice the tomato into thin rounds.
- 6. Crack the egg into a small bowl.
- 7. Add the chive rings to the egg.
- 8. Add a splash of milk.
- 9. Season the mixture with salt.
- 10. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 11. Whisk everything well with a fork.
- 12. Heat some oil in a small non-stick pan.
- 13. Pour the egg mixture into the hot pan.
- 14. Cook the egg over medium heat.
- 15. Push the egg towards the center repeatedly until it sets.
- 16. Let the scrambled eggs cool down briefly.
- 17. Slice the bun in half.
- 18. Hollow out the bottom half of the bun slightly.
- 19. Fill the hollowed bun half with the scrambled eggs.
- 20. Place the tomato slices on top of the scrambled eggs.
- 21. Cover the bun with the top half.
- 22. Wrap the finished bun tightly in cling film.
- 23. Alternatively, you can wrap it in aluminum foil.
