Ingredients
- 3 untreated grapefruits
- 1 untreated lemon (Zested peel)
- 300 g sugar
- Tequila
- 12 clementines (preferably organic, alternatively also mandarins)
- 2 clementines (Zested peel)
- Juice of a lemon
- 300 g sugar
- Tequila
- 2 pomelos (untreated)
- 0.5 pomelo (Zested peel)
- 300 g sugar
- Tequila
Instructions
- 1. Squeeze the pomelos. Dissolve the sugar in 400 ml lukewarm water and add the pomelo juice as well as 1 tbsp Tequila.
- 2. Place the mixture in a bowl and put it in the freezer. Let it freeze for 4 hours and stir well every hour.
- 3. Squeeze the clementines. Dissolve the sugar in 400 ml lukewarm water and add the clementine juice, lemon juice as well as 1 tbsp Tequila. Let it freeze as described above.
- 4. Squeeze the pomelos. Dissolve the sugar in 400 ml lukewarm water and add the pomelo juice as well as 1 tbsp Tequila. Again, let it freeze as described above.
- 5. The granité can be served in the hollowed-out citrus shells if desired (chill these in the freezer beforehand).
