🍽️ Tasty Vegetarian Burgers

Ingredients
- 125 ml milk
- 100 g oat flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 30 g flour
- 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 small carrots
- 2 tbsp quark
- 150 g mixed salad (e.g. radicchio, endive, frisée)
- 1 mini cucumber
- 6 tbsp yogurt
- 2 tbsp hot mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- 4 burger buns
Instructions
- 1. Heat the milk in a pot.
- 2. Add 75 g of oats, salt, curry powder, flour, and 1 tablespoon of oil to the hot milk.
- 3. Stir the mixture well.
- 4. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 5. Let the oat mixture swell for about 30 minutes.
- 6. Wash the salad thoroughly.
- 7. Spin the salad dry.
- 8. Tear the salad into small pieces.
- 9. Wash the cucumber.
- 10. Cut off the ends of the cucumber.
- 11. Slice the cucumber lengthwise into thin slices.
- 12. Mix the yogurt with the mustard.
- 13. Add the honey and lemon juice to the yogurt mixture.
- 14. Season the sauce with a little salt.
- 15. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 16. Set the finished sauce aside.
- 17. Chop the pumpkin seeds finely.
- 18. Peel the carrots.
- 19. Grate the carrots finely.
- 20. Mix the chopped pumpkin seeds and grated carrots with the quark.
- 21. Add this mixture to the swollen oat mixture.
- 22. Mix everything well together.
- 23. Wet your hands with water.
- 24. Form four patties from the mixture.
- 25. Roll the patties in the remaining oats.
- 26. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan.
- 27. Fry the patties in the pan.
- 28. Fry each patty for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 29. Halve the burger buns.
- 30. Place some salad on the bottom half of the bun.
- 31. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of sauce over the salad.
- 32. Place a patty on the sauce.
- 33. Top the patty with remaining salad.
- 34. Place cucumber slices on top.
- 35. Drizzle the remaining yogurt sauce over it.
- 36. Place the top half of the bun on.
- 37. Secure the burger with a toothpick.
- 38. Serve the burger.
