  1. 1. Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes.
  2. 2. Drain the corn in a sieve.
  3. 3. Wash the bell pepper, cut it in half lengthwise, remove the seeds and white membrane, and finely dice the flesh.
  4. 4. Clean the mushrooms and slice them thinly.
  5. 5. Wash the tomatoes, dry them, and cut them into quarters.
  6. 6. Whisk the tomato paste, whipping cream, and crème fraîche in a bowl until smooth.
  7. 7. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
  8. 8. Grate the cheese.
  9. 9. Take about half of the cheese and add it to the cream mixture along with the prepared vegetables.
  10. 10. Mix everything well together.
  11. 11. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  12. 12. Slice the rolls in half lengthwise.
  13. 13. Place the roll halves on the baking tray.
  14. 14. Spread the vegetable-cream mixture generously over the rolls.
  15. 15. Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top.
  16. 16. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius conventional heat (180 degrees Celsius fan-forced or gas mark 3).
  17. 17. Bake the rolls for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  18. 18. Meanwhile, wash the basil and shake it dry.
  19. 19. Pluck the leaves from the stems and chop them finely.
  20. 20. Sprinkle the fresh basil over the finished rolls.
