🍽️ Crispy Vegetarian Dinkel Patties with Sheep's Cheese

Ingredients
- 250 g Spelt flakes
- 250 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 Red onion
- 50 g Mixed salad leaves
- 4 Cherry tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Sesame
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 200 g Feta
- 80 g Breadcrumbs
- 5 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 12 Black olives
Instructions
- 1. Pour hot vegetable broth over the spelt flakes.
- 2. Let the mixture swell for one hour covered.
- 3. Peel the onion and slice it into rings.
- 4. Wash the salad and spin it dry.
- 5. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges.
- 6. Mix the sesame and cornstarch into the spelt mixture.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 8. Cut the feta into small cubes.
- 9. Shape flat patties from the spelt mixture and the feta cubes.
- 10. Bread the patties with the breadcrumbs.
- 11. Heat the rapeseed oil in a large non-stick pan.
- 12. Fry the patties for five minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 13. Arrange the salad as a bed on the plates.
- 14. Distribute the patties on the salad.
- 15. Garnish the dish with tomatoes, olives, and onion rings.
