  1. 1. Cook the grains or legumes in double the amount of water. Follow the instructions on the package. Cook them for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Remove the pan from the heat. Let the mixture cool down for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Crumble the cheese or grate it finely.
  4. 4. Wash the bell pepper. Remove the inside with the seeds. Cut the vegetable into small cubes.
  5. 5. Peel the carrot. Grate it finely.
  6. 6. Wash the parsley. Shake it dry.
  7. 7. Pluck the leaves from the stems. Chop the leaves finely.
  8. 8. Place the cooled grain or legume mixture into a bowl.
  9. 9. Add one egg.
  10. 10. Add the grated or crumbled cheese.
  11. 11. Add the chopped parsley.
  12. 12. Add the diced bell pepper.
  13. 13. Add the oat flakes.
