Ingredients
- 250 g spelt flour Type 1050
- 50 g raw cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 knife tip vanilla powder
- 125 g margarine (cold)
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine spelt flour, raw cane sugar, salt, and vanilla powder. Place the margarine or vegan butter in small pieces on top and knead it in with cold hands. Add 2–3 tablespoons of cold water and quickly knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 2. Wrap the vegan shortcrust pastry in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Then, continue processing it according to the respective recipe.
