  1. 1. Peel the potatoes or wash organic potatoes very thoroughly.
  2. 2. Slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. 3. Heat the coconut oil in a large pan.
  4. 4. Fry the potato slices for a few minutes over medium heat.
  5. 5. Place the pre-fried potatoes into a baking dish.
  6. 6. Pour the coconut milk and vegetable broth over the potatoes.
  7. 7. Sprinkle the spices and nutritional yeast evenly over the top.
  8. 8. Preheat the oven to 190 °C (170 °C for fan-assisted or gas mark 2–3).
  9. 9. Bake the gratin in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
