  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the fresh herbs or chili peppers under running water.
  2. 2. Dry the herbs or chilies completely with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Let the ingredients air-dry until no moisture remains.
  4. 4. Place the dried herbs or chili peppers into a clean bottle.
  5. 5. Heat half of the required oil amount in a saucepan.
  6. 6. Pour the remaining cold oil into the bottle with the heated oil.
  7. 7. Seal the bottle tightly and store it in a dark place.
  8. 8. Let the oils infuse for at least one to two weeks before using them.
