🍽️ Fruity Vanilla Melon Smoothie

Ingredients
- 0.5 small vanilla pod
- 250 g melon (e.g. cantaloupe; 1 piece; chilled)
- 100 ml milk (1.5% fat; chilled)
- 50 g raspberry sorbet (ready-made product) (1 scoop)
- Also: ice cubes
Instructions
- 1. Slice the half vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 2. Scrape out the tiny vanilla seeds from the pod using a knife.
- 3. Remove the seeds from the melon piece.
- 4. Peel the melon completely.
- 5. Cut the melon into long wedges.
- 6. Take one of the wedges aside and set it aside.
- 7. Dice the rest of the melon.
- 8. Crush the ice cubes finely using an ice crusher.
- 9. Put the crushed ice into a glass.
- 10. Add the vanilla seeds, melon cubes, milk, and the scoop of raspberry sorbet to a blender.
- 11. Blend the mixture until smooth using a hand blender.
- 12. Pour the blended mixture over the ice in the glass.
- 13. Garnish the drink with the reserved melon wedge.
- 14. Enjoy the mix immediately.
