  1. 1. Slice the half vanilla pod lengthwise.
  2. 2. Scrape out the tiny vanilla seeds from the pod using a knife.
  3. 3. Remove the seeds from the melon piece.
  4. 4. Peel the melon completely.
  5. 5. Cut the melon into long wedges.
  6. 6. Take one of the wedges aside and set it aside.
  7. 7. Dice the rest of the melon.
  8. 8. Crush the ice cubes finely using an ice crusher.
  9. 9. Put the crushed ice into a glass.
  10. 10. Add the vanilla seeds, melon cubes, milk, and the scoop of raspberry sorbet to a blender.
  11. 11. Blend the mixture until smooth using a hand blender.
  12. 12. Pour the blended mixture over the ice in the glass.
  13. 13. Garnish the drink with the reserved melon wedge.
  14. 14. Enjoy the mix immediately.
