  2. 2. Add the oat flakes, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. 3. Stir in the flaxseeds.
  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  5. 5. Let the porridge simmer for about 2 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove the pot from the heat.
  7. 7. Let the porridge swell for approx. 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Toast the nuts in a pan without fat.
  9. 9. Wash the apples thoroughly.
  10. 10. Cut the apples in half.
  11. 11. Remove the core.
  12. 12. Cut the apple flesh into small cubes.
  13. 13. Add the apple cubes and the toasted nuts to the porridge.
  14. 14. Serve the dish.
