🍽️ Baked radicchio with pear and blue cheese

Ingredients
- 600 g radicchio
- salt
- 2 ripe pears (e.g. Williams Christ)
- 150 g Gorgonzola
- fat (for the dish)
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Wash the radicchio and cut it into eight equal wedges.
- 3. Remove the hard white stems at the base of the leaves.
- 4. Bring a pot of water with some salt to a boil.
- 5. Place the radicchio wedges in the boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 6. Remove the radicchio and let it drain well.
- 7. Wash the pears and cut them into quarters.
- 8. Remove the core from the pear quarters.
- 9. Cut the pear flesh into thin slices.
- 10. Cut the blue cheese into small cubes.
- 11. Grease a baking dish with some oil or butter.
- 12. Place the drained radicchio in the prepared dish.
- 13. Season the radicchio with salt and pepper to taste.
- 14. Distribute the pear slices evenly over the radicchio.
- 15. Drizzle some oil over the vegetables and fruit.
- 16. Sprinkle the blue cheese cubes over the top.
- 17. Place the baking dish in the oven for about 15 minutes.
- 18. Remove the dish from the oven as soon as the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- 19. Serve the dish immediately while warm.
