🍽️ Baked Chard with Goat Cheese

Ingredients
- 1 kg chard
- salt
- 250 g cherry tomatoes
- 80 g goat cream cheese
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 lemon
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- pepper
- 0.5 whole wheat baguette
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chard thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the tough stems and save them for another use.
- 3. Place the chard leaves in a large pot of boiling, salted water.
- 4. Cook the leaves for two minutes (this is called blanching).
- 5. Drain the water and place the leaves in an ovenproof dish.
- 6. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
- 7. Cut the goat cheese into small cubes.
- 8. Distribute the tomatoes and cheese evenly over the chard.
- 9. Wash the thyme and shake it dry.
- 10. Pluck the small thyme leaves from the stems.
- 11. Sprinkle the thyme leaves over the vegetables.
- 12. Drizzle one tablespoon of olive oil over it.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees (convection 150 degrees or gas mark 1).
- 14. Bake the dish for about ten minutes until the cheese melts.
- 15. Meanwhile, squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
- 16. Mix the lemon juice with honey and the remaining oil.
- 17. Drizzle this mixture over the hot vegetables.
- 18. Season everything finally with salt and pepper.
- 19. Serve the dish together with baguette.
