🍽️ Baked Watermelon Triangles with Cheese

Ingredients
- 1 watermelon
- 250 g Scamorza (smoked mozzarella)
- 60 g pistachio kernels (4 tbsp)
- 4 sprigs thyme
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cut the watermelon in half.
- 2. Cut slices with a thickness of about 1 centimeter.
- 3. Cut a total of 12 triangles from the slices.
- 4. Use the remaining melon part for another purpose.
- 5. Place the melon triangles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 6. Slice the Scamorza cheese.
- 7. Place the cheese slices on the melon pieces.
- 8. Finely chop the pistachios.
- 9. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the melons with cheese.
- 10. Turn on the oven grill to the hot setting.
- 11. Bake the melon triangles in the oven for 6 to 8 minutes.
- 12. Take them out when they are golden brown.
- 13. Wash the thyme under running water.
- 14. Shake the thyme dry.
- 15. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stems.
- 16. Sprinkle the thyme leaves over the warm melon triangles just before serving.
- 17. Season the finished melon triangles finally with salt and pepper.
