🍰 Baked Tortellini

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp olive oil (+ a little for the dish)
- 500 g crushed tomatoes
- 200 g peas (freshly shelled or frozen and thawed)
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 500 g vegetarian whole grain tortelloni (ready-made product from the refrigerated section)
- 150 g grated mozzarella (9% fat)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 2. Dice the onion and the garlic finely.
- 3. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 4. Sauté the onion and garlic cubes over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- 5. Add the tomatoes and the peas.
- 6. Let the mixture come to a brief boil.
- 7. Season the sauce with a pinch of salt, some pepper, and paprika powder.
- 8. Brush the baking dish with oil.
- 9. Place the tortellini in the baking dish.
- 10. Pour the sauce over the tortellini.
- 11. Sprinkle the dish with cheese.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (180 °C for fan-assisted or gas mark 2–3).
- 13. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
- 14. Cut the casserole into pieces.
- 15. Distribute the pieces onto plates.
