  1. 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
  2. 2. Dice the onion and the garlic finely.
  3. 3. Heat the oil in a pot.
  4. 4. Sauté the onion and garlic cubes over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the tomatoes and the peas.
  6. 6. Let the mixture come to a brief boil.
  7. 7. Season the sauce with a pinch of salt, some pepper, and paprika powder.
  8. 8. Brush the baking dish with oil.
  9. 9. Place the tortellini in the baking dish.
  10. 10. Pour the sauce over the tortellini.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the dish with cheese.
  12. 12. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (180 °C for fan-assisted or gas mark 2–3).
  13. 13. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  14. 14. Cut the casserole into pieces.
  15. 15. Distribute the pieces onto plates.
