  1. 1. Wash the mushrooms and slice them into thick pieces.
  2. 2. Heat the oil in a pan.
  3. 3. Fry the mushrooms over high heat for a few seconds.
  4. 4. Stir the puréed tomatoes into the mushrooms.
  5. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil once.
  6. 6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Slice the smoked pork or ham into strips.
  8. 8. Cook the tortellini and rigatoni in plenty of salted water, as indicated on the package.
  9. 9. Drain the pasta and let it drain well.
  10. 10. Fill the drained pasta, the mushroom-tomato sauce, and the meat strips into a greased baking dish.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the Gouda cheese over everything.
  12. 12. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (200 degrees with fan or gas level 4-5).
  13. 13. Bake the casserole for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven until it is baked on top.
  14. 14. Dust the finished dish with cayenne pepper and serve.
