🍝 Baked pasta with broccoli, cheese and sausages

Ingredients
- 400 g Penne
- Salt
- 4 Bratwursts
- 400 g Broccoli florets
- 400 g ripe Tomatoes
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 100 ml Vegetable broth
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp dried Oregano
- Butter (for the dish)
- 1 ball Mozzarella (approx. 125 g)
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven and set it to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Cook the pasta in salted water for about 8 minutes.
- 3. Drain the pasta and rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 4. Let the pasta drain well.
- 5. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
- 6. Fry the sausages in the hot pan until golden brown on all sides.
- 7. Remove the sausages from the pan.
- 8. Cut the sausages into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 9. Wash the broccoli under running water.
- 10. Remove the tough stems and cut the broccoli into small florets.
- 11. Boil the broccoli in salted water for about 4 minutes.
- 12. Drain the broccoli and rinse it with cold water.
- 13. Let the broccoli drain well as well.
- 14. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 15. Shock the tomatoes immediately with cold water.
- 16. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 17. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- 18. Cut the tomato quarters into small cubes.
- 19. Peel the garlic.
- 20. Finely chop the garlic.
- 21. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
- 22. Sauté the garlic in the hot pan until translucent.
- 23. Add the tomato cubes to the pan.
- 24. Add some broth to the pan.
- 25. Season the mixture with salt.
- 26. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 27. Season the mixture with oregano.
- 28. Let the sauce simmer on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- 29. Fold the pasta into the sauce.
- 30. Fold the broccoli into the pasta mixture.
- 31. Fold the sausage pieces into the pasta mixture.
- 32. Grease a baking dish with butter.
- 33. Fill the pasta mixture into the baking dish.
- 34. Slice the mozzarella.
- 35. Top the baking dish with the mozzarella slices.
- 36. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
- 37. Bake the casserole for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and gratinated.
