🍽️ Baked Ciabatta Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 400 g small tomatoes (10 small tomatoes)
- 125 g Mozzarella
- 50 g green olives (pitted)
- 250 g ciabatta rolls (to be baked, 6 ciabatta rolls)

- 0.5 bunch arugula
- 50 g Serrano ham (in thin slices)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Cut out the hard stem areas from the tomatoes in a wedge shape.
- 3. Slice the tomatoes into rounds about 5 millimeters thick.
- 4. Let the mozzarella drain well in a colander.
- 5. Slice the mozzarella into thin rounds.
- 6. Also let the olives drain well.
- 7. Finely chop the olives.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius conventional heat (180 degrees Celsius fan or gas mark 3).
- 9. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 10. Slice the ciabatta rolls horizontally.
- 11. Arrange the roll halves on the prepared baking tray.
- 12. Sprinkle the rolls with the chopped olives.
- 13. Top the rolls with the tomato slices.
- 14. Season the topped rolls with black pepper.
- 15. Distribute the mozzarella slices evenly over the tomatoes.
- 16. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- 17. Wash the arugula thoroughly while the rolls are baking.
- 18. Dry the arugula in a salad spinner or with a kitchen towel.
- 19. Remove any thick stems or wilted leaves from the arugula.
- 20. Cut the ham into thin strips.
- 21. Take the baked rolls out of the oven.
- 22. Decoratively arrange the arugula and ham strips on the hot rolls.
- 23. Serve the sandwiches immediately while warm.
