🍽️ Grilled Oysters with Herb Butter

Ingredients
- 12 oysters
- sea salt (for baking)
- 4 slices white bread
- 4 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped thyme
- 50 g butter
- sea salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- lemon wedges (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the grill function of your oven and preheat it.
- 2. Carefully open the oysters.
- 3. Sprinkle sea salt onto a baking sheet.
- 4. Place the oysters on the salted tray.
- 5. Cut off the hard crust from the white bread.
- 6. Break the bread into coarse crumbs.
- 7. Put the bread pieces and the herbs into a blender.
- 8. Grind the mixture into a fine powder.
- 9. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- 10. Mix the melted butter with the bread-herb mixture.
- 11. Season the butter with salt and pepper.
- 12. If the mixture seems too dry, stir in a little more soft butter.
- 13. Distribute the herb butter evenly over the oysters.
- 14. Place the tray in the preheated oven under the grill.
- 15. Gratin the oysters for 3 to 4 minutes until they are golden brown.
- 16. Serve the oysters as an appetizer.
- 17. Serve lemon wedges on the side to drizzle over the oysters.
