  1. 1. Pour 125 milliliters of water and the sugar into a pot.
  2. 2. Heat the mixture until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  3. 3. Soak the gelatin in lukewarm water.
  4. 4. Mix the cornstarch with a small amount of cold water until you have a smooth paste.
  5. 5. Stir the starch paste into the hot sugar water.
  6. 6. Let the mixture simmer briefly.
  7. 7. Divide the hot liquid evenly into two separate containers.
  8. 8. Stir rose water and cherry juice into the first half of the liquid.
  9. 9. Stir orange blossom water and orange juice into the second half of the liquid.
  10. 10. Remove both containers from the heat.
  11. 11. Squeeze the soaked gelatin well to remove excess water.
  12. 12. Stir half of the gelatin into the red mixture.
  13. 13. Stir the other half of the gelatin into the yellow mixture.
  14. 14. Line two shallow molds (each about 15 by 15 centimeters) with baking paper.
  15. 15. Pour the red mixture into one mold and the yellow into the other.
  16. 16. Let the mixtures cool completely until they are firm.
  17. 17. Remove the jelly from the molds.
  18. 18. Carefully peel off the baking paper.
  19. 19. Cut the jelly into rectangular pieces.
  20. 20. Roll the pieces in powdered sugar until they are completely covered.
