🍽️ Turkish Delight with Powdered Sugar

Ingredients
- 250 g Sugar
- 6 leaves Gelatin
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Rose water
- 150 ml Cherry juice
- 1 tsp Orange blossom water
- 150 ml Orange juice
- 100 g Powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Pour 125 milliliters of water and the sugar into a pot.
- 2. Heat the mixture until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- 3. Soak the gelatin in lukewarm water.
- 4. Mix the cornstarch with a small amount of cold water until you have a smooth paste.
- 5. Stir the starch paste into the hot sugar water.
- 6. Let the mixture simmer briefly.
- 7. Divide the hot liquid evenly into two separate containers.
- 8. Stir rose water and cherry juice into the first half of the liquid.
- 9. Stir orange blossom water and orange juice into the second half of the liquid.
- 10. Remove both containers from the heat.
- 11. Squeeze the soaked gelatin well to remove excess water.
- 12. Stir half of the gelatin into the red mixture.
- 13. Stir the other half of the gelatin into the yellow mixture.
- 14. Line two shallow molds (each about 15 by 15 centimeters) with baking paper.
- 15. Pour the red mixture into one mold and the yellow into the other.
- 16. Let the mixtures cool completely until they are firm.
- 17. Remove the jelly from the molds.
- 18. Carefully peel off the baking paper.
- 19. Cut the jelly into rectangular pieces.
- 20. Roll the pieces in powdered sugar until they are completely covered.
