  1. 1. Warm up half of the milk in a small pot.
  2. 2. Stir the rice slurry into the warm milk using a whisk.
  3. 3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. 4. Let the porridge swell for three minutes over low heat while stirring constantly.
  5. 5. Remove the pot from the heat.
  6. 6. Stir in the remaining cold milk and the apple juice.
  7. 7. Pour the milk mixture into a baby bottle.
  8. 8. Screw a flow-restricting nipple (breisauger) onto the bottle.
  9. 9. Before feeding, drip some of the contents onto the back of your hand.
  10. 10. Check the drinking temperature this way.
