  1. 1. Rinse the lemon under hot water and pat it dry.
  2. 2. Slice the lemon into thin rounds.
  3. 3. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  4. 4. Scrape out the seeds from the vanilla pod.
  5. 5. Place the lemon slices, vanilla seeds, honey, and 250 milliliters of water into a pot.
  6. 6. Bring the mixture to a boil once.
  7. 7. Simmer the mixture over low heat for 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Shake the elderflower blossoms to remove dirt and pick out any large debris.
  9. 9. Add half of the elderflower blossoms to the pot.
  10. 10. Stir everything well.
  11. 11. Allow the mixture to cool down.
  12. 12. Let the punch steep for about 12 hours.
  13. 13. Strain the elderflower water through a sieve.
  14. 14. Pour the water into a large punch bowl.
  15. 15. Slice the remaining lemon into thin rounds.
  16. 16. Add the lemon slices and the remaining elderflower blossoms to the punch.
  17. 17. Top up the punch with grape juice.
  18. 18. Top up the punch with mineral water.
  19. 19. Add ice cubes to the punch.
  20. 20. Serve the punch.
