🍽️ Homemade Wheat Tortillas with Oregano

Ingredients
- 10 g oregano (1 handful)
- 260 g wheat flour
- 250 g whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the oregano thoroughly and shake it dry.
- 2. Finely chop the oregano.
- 3. Add 250 grams of wheat flour, whole wheat flour, salt, the chopped oregano, and 2 tablespoons of oil to a bowl.
- 4. Gradually add about 175 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 5. Knead the ingredients on a work surface into a firm and pliable dough.
- 6. Make sure the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
- 7. Cover the dough with a damp cloth.
- 8. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes.
- 9. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions.
- 10. Shape each portion into a ball.
- 11. Sprinkle some flour on the work surface.
- 12. Roll out the dough balls into thin flatbreads.
- 13. Heat a pan for baking.
- 14. Brush the pan with a little oil.
- 15. Bake the flatbreads individually in the pan.
- 16. Fry each flatbread for about 1 minute per side until golden brown.
- 17. Remove the flatbreads from the heat when they puff up with bubbles.
