🍽️ Tortilla Rolls with Sauerkraut and Liver Sausage Gratin

Ingredients
- 1 can Sauerkraut (drained weight approx. 520 g)
- 1 Onion
- 3 Spring onions
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 150 ml Broth
- 200 g Cream cheese
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Cumin
- 400 g Meat loaf
- 8 Tortilla wraps
- Fat (for the dish)
- 100 g grated Gouda
- 2 tbsp Chive rings
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Drain the sauerkraut well in a colander.
- 3. Peel the onion and cut it into fine cubes.
- 4. Wash the spring onions, trim the hard ends, and slice them into fine rings.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 6. Add the onion cubes and spring onion rings to the hot oil and sauté them briefly.
- 7. Add the drained sauerkraut to the vegetables in the pot.
- 8. Pour the broth over the mixture.
- 9. Stir the cream cheese into the mixture.
- 10. Let everything simmer gently for about 3 minutes.
- 11. Season the filling with salt, pepper, and cumin.
- 12. Cut the liver sausage into small cubes.
- 13. Fold the liver sausage cubes into the sauerkraut mixture.
- 14. Distribute the filling evenly over the tortilla wraps.
- 15. Roll up the tortillas tightly.
- 16. Place the tortilla rolls in a lightly greased baking dish.
- 17. Sprinkle the rolls with the cheese.
- 18. Bake the dish for about 15 minutes in the oven until the cheese is melted.
- 19. Sprinkle the finished dish with chive rings before serving.
