  1. 1. Peel the onion and dice it finely. Peel the carrots and celery.
  2. 2. Cut them into thin strips. Wash the leek and slice it into rings.
  3. 3. Sauté the onion in butter in a pot until translucent, add the vegetables and briefly sauté, then pour in the broth and let it simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Season with salt and pepper. Add the tortellini and let them cook for about 6 minutes. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped chives.
