🍰 Tortellini in creamy tomato sauce

Ingredients
- 200 g tortellini (ready-made product)
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp butter
- 200 g chunky tomatoes (0 pack)
- oregano
- salt
- coarse pepper
- 75 g cream cheese (13% fat) (with herbs of Provence)
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add some salt.
- 2. Add the tortellini to the boiling water.
- 3. Cook the tortellini for the time specified on the package.
- 4. Peel the onion and the garlic clove.
- 5. Dice the onion into small cubes.
- 6. Crush the garlic clove using the flat side of a knife.
- 7. Heat the butter in a pan.
- 8. Add the onion cubes and the garlic to the pan.
- 9. Sauté the vegetables briefly until fragrant.
- 10. Add the tomatoes to the pan.
- 11. Simmer the tomatoes until the liquid has reduced slightly.
- 12. Season the sauce with oregano, salt, and pepper.
- 13. Stir the cream cheese into the sauce.
- 14. Warm the sauce, but do not let it boil again.
- 15. Place the drained tortellini on the plates.
- 16. Pour the sauce over the tortellini.
