  6. 6. Crush the garlic clove using the flat side of a knife.
  7. 7. Heat the butter in a pan.
  8. 8. Add the onion cubes and the garlic to the pan.
  9. 9. Sauté the vegetables briefly until fragrant.
  10. 10. Add the tomatoes to the pan.
  11. 11. Simmer the tomatoes until the liquid has reduced slightly.
  12. 12. Season the sauce with oregano, salt, and pepper.
