🍰 Creamy Tortellini in Fresh Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 400 g fresh Tortellini (ready-made product)
- 750 g tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 clove of garlic
- 40 g Parmesan
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bunch basil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 2. Remove the skin from the tomatoes.
- 3. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes.
- 4. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 5. Peel the onions.
- 6. Dice the onions finely.
- 7. Heat olive oil in a pan.
- 8. Fry the onions in the hot oil until they become translucent.
- 9. Press the garlic directly into the pan.
- 10. Fry the garlic briefly.
- 11. Stir the tomato cubes into the onions.
- 12. Season the sauce with salt.
- 13. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 14. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
- 15. Finely chop the basil leaves.
- 16. Stir the basil into the finished sauce.
- 17. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 18. Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- 19. Add salt to the boiling water.
- 20. Cook the tortellini in the salted water.
- 21. Cook the tortellini for about 7 minutes.
- 22. Drain the tortellini.
- 23. Let the tortellini drain well.
- 24. Mix the tortellini with the tomato sauce.
- 25. Sprinkle the dish with grated Parmesan cheese.
- 26. Serve the dish warm.
