🍽️ Creamy Tomato Soup with Mini Pizza

Ingredients
- 4 Mini-Pizzas (ready-made, frozen)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 smaller onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 500 ml chicken broth (jar or homemade)
- 1 small peeled tomato (approx. 400 g)
- 1 tsp dried basil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 50 g whipping cream
- basil
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven according to the package instructions.
- 2. Bake the mini pizzas in the preheated oven until done.
- 3. Peel the garlic.
- 4. Peel the onion and cut it into thin lengthwise strips.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 6. Sauté the onions in the hot oil until they are translucent.
- 7. Press the garlic directly into the pot.
- 8. Fry the garlic briefly.
- 9. Deglaze the onions with the broth.
- 10. Add the tomatoes along with their juice from the can.
- 11. Mash the tomatoes slightly with a potato masher.
- 12. Add the dried basil to the soup.
- 13. Let the soup simmer for 10 minutes.
- 14. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste.
- 15. Whip the cream until stiff.
- 16. Distribute the hot soup onto the plates.
- 17. Add a spoonful of whipped cream to each serving of soup.
- 18. Garnish the soup with a few fresh basil leaves.
- 19. Serve the soup together with the mini pizzas.
