🍽️ Quick Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 400 g chopped tomatoes (can)
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (parsley, basil)
- salt
- sugar
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallots and the garlic.
- 2. Finely chop the shallots and the garlic.
- 3. Wash the celery.
- 4. Remove the tough parts from the celery.
- 5. Finely chop the celery.
- 6. Heat olive oil in a pot.
- 7. Add the shallots, garlic, and celery to the hot oil.
- 8. Sauté the vegetables until translucent.
- 9. Stir the tomato paste into the vegetables.
- 10. Deglaze the mixture with wine.
- 11. Add the tomatoes to the pot.
- 12. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 20 minutes.
- 13. Stir half of the herbs into the sauce.
- 14. Season the sauce with salt, sugar, and pepper.
- 15. Sprinkle the finished sauce with the remaining herbs.
- 16. Serve the sauce.
