🍽️ Quick Meatball Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 1 carrot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 500 g beef mince
- 800 g peeled tomatoes (can)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp granulated broth
- 2 tsp mixed herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary, oregano)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic clove.
- 2. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 3. Peel the carrot.
- 4. Cut the carrot into very small cubes.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 6. Add the onion and garlic cubes to the hot oil.
- 7. Sauté the vegetables briefly until fragrant.
- 8. Add the carrot cubes to the pan.
- 9. Add the minced meat.
- 10. Fry the meat until it is crumbly.
- 11. Add the tomatoes to the pan.
- 12. Crush the tomatoes directly in the pan.
- 13. Stir in the tomato paste.
- 14. Let the sauce simmer for 30 minutes.
- 15. Season the sauce to taste with salt.
- 16. Season the sauce to taste with pepper.
- 17. Add some broth if necessary.
- 18. Add the desired herbs.
