🍽️ Pepper Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 red bell peppers
- 1 clove garlic
- 60 g dried tomatoes (without oil)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 400 g chunky tomatoes (can)
- 150 ml vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 2. Halve the peppers and remove the insides.
- 3. Cut the peppers into thin strips.
- 4. Peel the garlic clove.
- 5. Mince the garlic very finely.
- 6. Cut the dried tomatoes into strips.
- 7. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 8. Add the pepper strips, garlic, and dried tomatoes to the pot.
- 9. Sauté the vegetables for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 10. Stir in the paprika powder and sauté briefly.
- 11. Add the chopped tomatoes and the broth.
- 12. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.
- 13. Add the parsley to the sauce.
- 14. Season the sauce with lemon juice.
- 15. Add a little honey.
- 16. Salt and pepper to taste.
- 17. Serve the sauce warm.
