🍽️ Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 800 g ripe tomatoes
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Briefly blanch the tomatoes, peel them, quarter, remove the insides, and cut into small pieces.
- 2. Cut the chili pepper lengthwise, remove the seeds, wash, and finely dice.
- 3. Peel and finely chop the onion, then sauté it with the chilies in hot oil in a pot. Press in the garlic and sauté briefly, then stir in the tomato paste and diced tomatoes, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
