🍽️ Fresh Tomato-Cilantro Salsa with Garlic

Ingredients
- 8 tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 spring onions
- 3 sprigs cilantro
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp brown sugar
- Tabasco
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the seeds along with the tough stem base.
- 3. Dice the remaining tomato flesh into approx. 2 cm pieces and place them in a bowl.
- 4. Peel the garlic clove and press it through a garlic press directly into the bowl with the tomatoes.
- 5. Wash the spring onions and slice them into thin rings.
- 6. Rinse the cilantro leaves, shake off excess water, and chop them finely.
- 7. Add the spring onion rings and the chopped cilantro to the tomato-garlic mixture.
- 8. Season the salsa with lime juice, olive oil, sugar, Tabasco, and salt.
- 9. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
- 10. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the salsa to taste with salt and spices if needed.
- 11. Serve the finished salsa immediately.
