  1. 1. Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the seeds along with the tough stem base.
  3. 3. Dice the remaining tomato flesh into approx. 2 cm pieces and place them in a bowl.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic clove and press it through a garlic press directly into the bowl with the tomatoes.
  5. 5. Wash the spring onions and slice them into thin rings.
  6. 6. Rinse the cilantro leaves, shake off excess water, and chop them finely.
  7. 7. Add the spring onion rings and the chopped cilantro to the tomato-garlic mixture.
  8. 8. Season the salsa with lime juice, olive oil, sugar, Tabasco, and salt.
  9. 9. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
  10. 10. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the salsa to taste with salt and spices if needed.
  11. 11. Serve the finished salsa immediately.
