  3. 3. Wash the tomatoes and halve the larger cherry tomatoes.
  4. 4. Peel the onions and cut them into large wedges or chunks.
  5. 5. Drain the olives in a sieve.
  6. 6. Rinse the fresh herbs and dry them thoroughly.
  7. 7. Crumble the feta cheese into coarse pieces using your fingers.
  8. 8. Place the zucchini, tomatoes, onions, olives, herbs, and feta cheese into a large jar.
  9. 9. Season the mixture generously with salt and black pepper.
  10. 10. Add the vinegar and olive oil to the jar.
  11. 11. Close the jar tightly with the lid.
  12. 12. Shake the jar vigorously until all ingredients and the marinade are well mixed.
  13. 13. Let the salad sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  14. 14. Toast the bread slices on a hot grill briefly until they are crispy.
  15. 15. Taste the salad again after waiting and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
