🍽️ Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Salad

Ingredients
- 500 g tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 bunch basil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 200 g mozzarella
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Drain the mozzarella in a sieve.
- 2. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 4. Cut the tomatoes into wedges.
- 5. Pick the basil leaves off the stems.
- 6. Roughly chop half of the basil leaves.
- 7. Peel the onion.
- 8. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 9. Place the mozzarella, tomatoes, onion rings, and basil in a bowl.
- 10. Whisk the oil with the lemon juice and balsamic vinegar.
- 11. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
- 12. Press the garlic clove directly into the marinade.
- 13. Toss the salad evenly with the marinade.
- 14. Place a few fresh basil leaves on the plate.
- 15. Arrange the salad on top of the basil leaves.
