Ingredients
- 1 bunch basil
- 1 shallot
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 50 ml red wine vinegar
- 50 ml orange juice
- 300 ml olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the basil thoroughly.
- 2. Shake the basil dry.
- 3. Cut the basil leaves into thin strips.
- 4. Peel the shallot.
- 5. Finely chop the shallot.
- 6. Mix the tomato paste with the vinegar.
- 7. Add the orange juice to the mixture.
- 8. Add the olive oil.
- 9. Stir the liquid well.
- 10. Add the cut basil leaves to the sauce.
- 11. Add the chopped shallot to the sauce.
- 12. Season the dressing with salt.
- 13. Season the dressing with pepper.
