  2. 2. Immediately plunge the tomato into cold water to stop the cooking process.
  3. 3. Peel the skin off the tomato.
  4. 4. Cut the tomato into four pieces.
  5. 5. Remove the seeds from the tomato pieces.
  6. 6. Chop the tomato flesh very finely.
  7. 7. Take soft butter and mix it thoroughly with tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and basil.
  8. 8. Season the butter mixture with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Shape the butter into a long roll.
  10. 10. Wrap the butter roll tightly in aluminum foil.
  11. 11. Place the wrapped butter in the refrigerator.
  12. 12. Slice the butter into thick slices before serving.
