🥤 Fresh Tomato Basil Soy Smoothie

Ingredients
- 160 g tomatoes (2 tomatoes)
- 4 sprigs basil
- 100 ml soy drink (soy milk) (1,2 % fat)
- salt
- pepper
- Also: ice cubes
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut out the hard stem areas from the tomatoes in a wedge shape.
- 3. Cut the cored tomatoes into eight equal wedges.
- 4. Wash the fresh basil leaves under cold water.
- 5. Shake the leaves dry to remove excess water.
- 6. Carefully pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 7. Set aside a few nice leaves for later decoration.
- 8. Cut the remaining basil leaves into thin strips.
- 9. Place the tomato wedges and basil strips into a countertop blender.
- 10. Pour the soy drink into the blender as desired.
- 11. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt and fresh pepper.
- 12. Add some ice cubes to the blender for a cool consistency.
- 13. Blend the ingredients on high speed until they are finely pureed.
- 14. Continue blending until the smoothie is nicely frothy.
- 15. Pour the finished smoothie into a drinking glass.
- 16. Decorate the surface with the reserved basil leaves.
