🍽️ Fresh Tomato Salsa with Herbs

Ingredients
- 500 g tomatoes
- 2 shallots
- 100 g pickles
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- salt
- pepper from the mill
- 1 pinch sugar
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp finely chopped chervil leaves
- 1 tbsp chive rings
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Remove most of the seeds from the tomatoes.
- 3. Dice the tomato flesh into fine cubes.
- 4. Peel the shallots.
- 5. Dice the shallots into fine cubes.
- 6. Remove the seeds from the cucumbers.
- 7. Dice the cucumber flesh into fine cubes.
- 8. Clean the celery and rinse it.
- 9. Cut the celery into fine pieces.
- 10. Place all prepared vegetable and fruit pieces into a bowl.
- 11. Whisk the vinegar with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 12. Slowly stir the olive oil into the vinegar mixture.
- 13. Gently fold the herbs into the vinaigrette.
- 14. Pour the vinaigrette over the mixed ingredients.
- 15. Mix everything well together.
- 16. Season the salsa to taste with salt and pepper once more.
