🍕 Crispy Tomato and Rosemary Pizza

Ingredients
- 20 g yeast
- 1 pinch sugar
- 450 g flour
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 can peeled tomatoes
- 250 g mozzarella
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 sprigs rosemary
- 1 tsp each oregano and basil
- 1 dried red chili pepper
- flour (for the work surface)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in 200 milliliters of lukewarm water together with the sugar.
- 2. Add the flour, the olive oil, and the salt.
- 3. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 5. Divide the dough into four equal portions.
- 6. Roll each portion on a lightly floured surface into an oval shape.
- 7. Place the dough bases on a baking sheet.
- 8. Press a small rim up at the edges with your fingers.
- 9. Let the tomatoes drain.
- 10. Mash the tomatoes into a pulp using a fork.
- 11. Spread the tomato pulp evenly over the dough bases.
- 12. Slice the mozzarella into thin slices.
- 13. Place the mozzarella slices on the tomatoes.
- 14. Season the pizza with salt and pepper.
- 15. Strip the rosemary needles from the stems and chop them finely.
- 16. Sprinkle half of the chopped rosemary needles over the pizza.
- 17. Crumble the chili pepper finely and distribute it on top.
- 18. Drizzle the pizza with some olive oil.
- 19. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- 20. Bake the pizza in the oven for 15 minutes.
- 21. Sprinkle the remaining half of the rosemary needles over it immediately after baking.
