🍕 Crispy Tomato and Mozzarella Pizza

Ingredients
- 20 g yeast
- 1 pinch sugar
- 450 g flour
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 can peeled tomatoes
- 250 g mozzarella
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 sprigs rosemary
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 dried red chili pepper
- flour (for the work surface)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in 200 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 2. Stir the sugar into the yeast water mixture.
- 3. Add the flour, the olive oil, and the salt.
- 4. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 5. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for one hour.
- 6. Divide the dough into four equal pieces.
- 7. Grease the pizza pans with a little oil.
- 8. Dust a work surface with flour.
- 9. Roll out each piece of dough into a round shape.
- 10. Place the dough bases into the prepared pans.
- 11. Press a small rim up at the edge of the dough.
- 12. Let the tomatoes drain well.
- 13. Mash the tomatoes into a puree with a fork.
- 14. Spread the tomato mixture evenly over the dough bases.
- 15. Slice the mozzarella into thin slices.
- 16. Place the mozzarella slices on the tomato sauce.
- 17. Season the pizzas with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- 18. Pluck the rosemary needles from the stems.
- 19. Sprinkle half of the rosemary needles over the pizzas.
- 20. Crumble the chili pepper finely.
- 21. Sprinkle the chili flakes over the pizzas as well.
- 22. Drizzle a little olive oil over the toppings.
- 23. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- 24. Bake the pizzas in the oven for 15 minutes.
- 25. Garnish the finished pizzas with the remaining rosemary.
